Medication
Our very own Homecare Support Worker, Alice Wynn, provides medication training to our employees as well as external individuals and organisations. Alice is an experienced trainer who provides the half day medication course which contains all the vital information on the legislations and how to safely administer and store different medications.
What will I learn?
- Legislation that affects the administration of medicines
- How medication should be stored and recorded
- Different types of medication and how they work
- How to follow protocols and policies when receiving, storing and recording medicines
- Describe common adverse reactions to medication
- Understand the differences in protocols between various healthcare provisions
How much does the training cost?
This course in Medication costs £40 per person which includes the practical and theoretical tuition, certificates and refreshments.
