About the Role?

Being a Personal Assistant (PA) or a childโ€™s buddy, is a hugely rewarding job. Because you are employed by the service user, or the service userโ€™s parent or carer, you will quickly become someone who is relied upon fully to help with care and support.

Each role is unique because everyone employing a PA or buddy has different needs, so it really is a case of no two jobs being the same. As a PA you may be supporting an adult with disabilities, or an older person. As a buddy you may be caring for a very young child or supporting a teenager.

You donโ€™t need to have any experience of care work, your employer will provide training if required.

All you need to provide is the right attitude and want to make a positive difference.
